# in a village when a big flood happened. It was so deep , a man had to climb onto his roof. A rescue
boat came along and said "jump in here and we will take you to safety." The man was very
religious and said "No thank you, the Lord will save me." As the water rose he had to climb to
the very top of the roof. Another boat came along but he said "No thank you I have faith
and the Lord will not let me drown." Finally the  water rose up to his neck. A helicopter came
along and lowered a lifebelt for him, but he refused again because he had such strong faith.
Of course he drowned and ended up in heaven where he said to the Lord "I had complete faith
in you Lord, why did you let me drown?" the Lord replied "I sent two boats and a helicopter,
what more did you expect!"
