NUSANTARA

In old scripts , back in the 7th century , Indonesia was called " NUSANTARA". The scripts stated that Indonesia or Nusantara was a great country which was very rich and the people lived in good harmony. As well as that , in songs about indonesia , we can see the lyrics that say what a rich country indonesia is ! However , the fact says something different as the people live in poverty. Little children that work on the street , singing sad song for food to survive, old people that beg on the street and people that have to commit crime are sad things that fill in our eyes , which not in the least describes that this country is so rich as what the scripts and songs tell about. If it is so rich , then it is like a house of rice where the people are chickens that are hungry and die in the house of rice. Recently there's been sad news , shocking us all and tears are welling up. The news is about the fact that many poor parents have to sell their babies to those in want of babies. They sell their babies at Rp 15000000 ( around $ 1500) to Rp 20000000 ( around $ 20000) . They do it to survive and hope that their babies will have good living in the future when they grow up. They don't want them to live in a misery the way they do
